soaking in the secret place

Psalm 91:1 S/He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

i have been under the weather, off and on, for over a month. i am actually feeling better today than i have felt pre-illness. yesterday, i decided to go to a prayer group. i did not want prayer, i just wanted to be in the presence of other's seeking the face of God. i hear God daily. i hear God even as i type this blog. Holy Spirit encouraged me to go and just dwell under the shadow's of God's wings. it felt good. i mean i was a bit antsy, yet once i relaxed i just felt God engulf me. the reservoir, of my body, got the tune up it needed. i went home feeling good. i usually like to soak in God's presence at home, yet i encourage you to soak in the presence of other believers'. when you soak in God's presence, you are strengthened, ministered to, and made whole.

Abba, we pray that You teach us to relax in Your presence. God we want to dwell in the secret place, O Most High. God we are honored just to dwell in the shadow of the Almighty. Father, forgive us for all the sins we have committed by thought, word, and deed against You, ourselves or others. Lord, we want to love You with all our heart, all our mind, and all our soul. in Jesus' name, amen
