help me Lord, i think?

yesterday, one of the young ladies i mentor came over to visit me. i had some chores to do, so i invited her to talk to me while i worked in my garden. we had not seen each other in a long time so we walked down memory lane and we circumvented our present status. if you know me, i am always concerned about people's walk with God. i want to know if you are trusting God. i want to know if you spending time (daily personal bible study, daily praise and worship, and worshipping with other believers weekly) with God. i want to know if fulfilling the call that God has placed on your life. most of my questions are usually answered by what people say and what people do not say. i always let people know that i will pray with them and that we can make a three way call any time. God is a loving God and God does not bite. people bite but God does not bite. once people do not put God on the same plain of people, they are able to accept God's love, God's mercy, and God's grace.

yesterday i asked her if she was fulfilling her call. she says she knows what her call is but she is not fulfilling it. i retorted if she asks for help. 'yes, i say, Lord help me.' i admonished her to be more specific. i confessed how in order to know what to say and what not to say to her, i was praying before she arrived and even now. 'i want to listen to you and i want to listen to God also. i want to make sure that i say what God wants me to say to you and not what i want to say.' she smiled.

Psalm 16:8-11 states: 8 I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, 10 because you will not abandon me to the grave, [fn] nor will you let your Holy One [fn] see decay. 11 You have made [fn] known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Abba, You are before me. You are at my right hand. You are my Rear Guard. God my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices. My body is rest secure because you will not abandon me or allow me to decay. God you make known to me the path of life. in Your presence is fullness of joy and at Your right hand are pleasures forever more. in Jesus' name, amen

two days ago we celebrated Resurrection Sunday, yet even today and every day that we live, we must set the Lord before us. God has a plan for your life. when you take time to spend time with God, you find out what the plan is. God wants to pour God's love into you. God wants to comfort you. God wants to heal you. God wants to transform you. Don't you want more of God? I do.
