Christianity is not a supermarket...

Psalm 40.8 says I delight to do thy will, O my God; thy law is within my heart."
Today is the first time I am reading this verse yet I have been looking for this verse for a while.  Last week, I finished reading a real Christian book that challenged me to really seek all the blessings and gifts that God has for me, via way of Holy Spirit, just for being obedient, faithful, trustworthy, and washed in the Blood of the Lamb.  Instead of me acting like the Bible is a supermarket, where I pick and choose how I want God to bless me, I am like, "Abba, I repent for not accepting the gifts that you wanted to bestow on me in the past.  I want to receive the gifts and walk in them."  God forgave me and I am so excited.  I understand what the Psalmist is talking about when they say, "I delight to do Your will, O my God.  Your law is within my heart."
