last night, before i turned in, i asked God to wake me up at 5am so i could worship at my mother's church. (i did not realize it had been 3 months since we worshiped God together at her church. Abba tapped me at 505am. i worshipped God with all my heart, mind and soul. i want/ed God to inhabit my praises. i closed my eyes, stood in God's presence and worshipped. it was awesome. i felt like i was on the dance floor with God and no one else was there.
john 4:23-24 23. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him. 24. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
i went to the farmer's market after church and i saw all these people socializing. i asked God to transform there desires to want to sit with God daily, to worship God in spirit and in truth, to be taught the Word of God under the tutelage of Holy Spirit, to find a church home where they can fellowship with other believers. God wants a intimate relationship with us.
genesis 1:26-27. 26. Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." 27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
when i woke up from my nap, God told me to call my father. we talked for a few minutes. i thanked God for the suggestion. when i hung up, i said, 'God, i am so sorry. i did not tell You happy Father's day.' God accepted my apology. i began to thank God for creating me in God's image. i thanked God for being able to know and hear God's voice. i thanked God for being able to experience the glory of God. i thanked God for the love of God which increases daily into my life and heart.
