do you talk to God as soon as you get home?

1 Peter 5.6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
a few months ago, Holy Spirit challenged me to spend time with God when i came home.  instead of turning on the television to unwind, i would hang up my coat, put my shoes away, grab some water, my journal and just go into my room.  sometimes, i would bow prostate. other times, i just sit on the bed or stretch out on the day.  i would just pour out my heart about my day.  i felt so relaxed that after about 30 minutes or so, i am ready to do stuff before i turn in for the night.
when was the last time that you sat on God's lap and talked?  i know we do it in the morning because it is a part of bible study, meditation, and reflection.  do something different...spend time with God for 30 minutes when you get home.  you will face the remainder of your day differently.
God desires intimacy...you should also.
