God, what plans do you have for me?

last night i was talking to my friend. we talked back and forth about what dreams we had to accomplish. i told her what was on my heart. she told me what was on her heart. i asked her, 'did you ask God, 'God what are your plans for my future?'' we both laughed and then she said no. i continued, 'i know we have dreams about what our future looks like, yet we should be asking God so we could be on one accord with God's will. for example, it it like going to college, majoring in an area for 4 years, earning a degree and we finally hear or acknowledge God's voice that says, 'i did not tell you to major in that.' and we go back to school, and say okay God, can i have some more money to major in the area you have called me to major in.'' she said okay. i saw here mentally nodding her head.

i encouraged her to pray Jeremiah 29:11-14 daily until God reveals God's plan for your life. even when the plans are revealed, keep praying because the verses hold an eternal promise.

Jeremiah 29:11 - 14 (RSV) For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me; when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

be open to the voice of God as you meditate on these verses. Ask Holy Spirit to reveal God's plans concerning these verses. Start walking in, living the Word, so you can become all who God is calling you to be.
