hunger for holiness

i am on a mission. i want to know what God wants me to do with my life. i know my purpose. i know why God created me. i just want to make sure that i am doing everything according to God's will.
how do i do it?
each day, i go to a quiet place, meditate on the Word, and ask Holy Spirit to teach me. after we walk through each verse, i ask God for the wisdom and understand to be assured that i fully understand it. i pray the promises, the commandments and the blessings in those verses because i know that Christians have an inheritance in all 66 books of the Bible, yet if you do not glean the Word, you will never know what the inheritance is. i feel empowered after bible study. i feel excited because i learned something that i did not know. i am repentant because i realized that i may have been sinning, yet i am glad that God delivered me and i will no longer entertain that desire. i feel closer to God because God has revealed a more intimate side of God to me. my heart usually lifts up a song and i am ready to go forth.
as Christians we grow grow grow. we grow closer to God. we grow spiritually, mentally, physically, psychologically, emotionally. we grow in our prayer time with God. we grow grow grow.

one of my favorite passages in the bible is Psalm 119.
Psalm 119:9-12. 9 (BETH) How can a young wo/man cleanse her/his way? By taking heed according to Your word. 10 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! 11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. 12 Blessed are You, O LORD! Teach me Your statutes.

God, i want to be clean spiritually, mentally, and physically. God as i sit at Your feet, help me understand, receive, and live Your Word. God, i am seeking You with my whole heart. God help me stay focused on Your commandments. God, i hide Your Word in my heart that i might not sin against You. God, teach me Your statutes. God, You are my Blessed Lord. God i thank that You shall continue to perfect those things which concern me, in Jesus' name, amen.
