a few weeks ago, one of the worshippers at church gave me a compact disc (CD). she said, 'i want you to hear one of my favorite songs." a few days later, i put the CD in my laptop and i played it. open the eyes of my heart Lord began to flow in the living room. my soul and my face smiled. i love that song. as i was printing out information on my computer, i came across a scripture that probably gave birth to the song. it is found in Ephesians 1:18:
i pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He (God) has called you, the riches of His (God's) glorious inheritance in the saints.
this was on one of my prayer cards. i will record this verse on my heart and in my journal. i am so thirsty for God. i want to see God face to face. i want to experience the glory of God's presence. i want more of God. we were created in God's image and God wants to have an intimate relationship with us.
God open the eyes of my heart so that i may be enlightened. God i want to know the hope to which You have called me. God i want to experience the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints. in Jesus' name, amen.
