don't leave God at home during vacation

i am grateful to God for my vacation club account. i am glad that i can pay cash for two months because i have allotted money out of my monthly budget to visit a few city, states and countries.
nevertheless, as i pack and repack, wash, dry and fold clothes for the different planes, trains, automobiles, i have to make sure i have my favorite books: my journal, my bible (at least 2 translations), and my search the scriptures (a excellent book to walk you through reading the bible in 3 years).

each morning, i open the bible and meditate on 4 to 5 verses. after 15 to 20 minutes, i walk through each verse and ask Holy Spirit to teach me. i want to grasp all the promises, commandments, blessings, and the word that God has for me. after i repent and ask deliverance from sins that the text may have revealed, i begin to pray the verses. God wants believers to receive every promise that is in the Word of God. God's Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. i feel refreshed, revived, renewed and excited because i have learned something about God and what God has enstore for me that i never knew before. i am ready to go for my morning walk, refresh and visit the parts of the city i am in.

in Mark 1:35 it states: Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.

God, i am excited that each morning, when You tap me on my shoulder, You are allowing me with another opportunity to live. God, i am grateful for the new measure of mercy and grace that You have bestowed on me. God, i am glad that i can go to a solitary place and sit at Your feet. God, i am glad that Holy Spirit can teach me Your Word. God i am glad that i can talk to You and You can talk to me. God i am all ears just listening to the plans that You have for me. thank You God that as Your sheep i know Your voice. in Jesus' name, amen
