God has a sense of humor

Psalm 119.2 states Happy are those who keep his decrees, who seek him with their whole heart,
this morning, Pentecost Sunday and Memorial Day, i was focused.  A day to celebrate Holy Spirit's introduction to the Christian nation.  A day to remember the members of the armed forces who died representing these United States.  I decided to leave church in time to catch my bus, so I would not be late for my appointment.  I said, I will only be late if I am slain in the Spirit.  I told God, 'I am going to worship you with my everything.  I cried out to God.  I whispered to God.  I danced with God.  I sang to God.  I took a few minutes in between it all to write down the revelations that Holy Spirit had whispered in my ear.  My friend, the pastor, was following God's lead.  I felt like my worship level in God had traveled unto a realm that it never went to before.  God whispered, 'Monique, do not leave until the benediction.'  I looked at my watch and laughed.  I was called to the front to receive a word of prophesy and prayer.  I whispered back to God, 'I'm going to be slain in the Spirit right and I will definitely miss my bus.'  God whispered back, 'Yes and yes, Monique.'  I smiled internally and I began to thank God for the Word that I would receive and just for being God.
God, we are happy because we keep Your decrees.  God we seek You with our whole heart.  We thank You that in Your presence is fullness of joy and at Your right hand are pleasures forever more.  in Jesus' name, amen.
