a change in prayer

Monday nights I usually go before God and intercede...these past two Monday's I did something different. I sung a worship song and I just listened. God spoke to me and I was comforted by God's presence. I was comforted by God's voice. I was comforted by everything that God whispered in my ears.

Psalm 84.1-2 states: How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Lord, my body is your temple yet I want Your dwelling place to be where I worship You at home. My soul is hungry for You. My heart and my flesh cry out for You, the living God. God help me be quiet so Your presence can minister to me. In Jesus' name, amen.
