the covering

a few weeks ago, i attended a worship service. the minister had admonished us to pray psalm 91 daily as we enter a season of maturity. (God is tired of us pouting about promises that we are still waiting to come. it is time to walk forward onto the path and steps that God has ordered for us). i was pumped and i am still pumped. i went home and wrote the verses in my prayer journal. i made it personal.

Psalm 91.1-2 states she/he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the LORD, "My refuge and My fortress; my God, in whom I trust."

God is calling us to new levels of intimacy. God expects to draw near. we sing, 'draw me nearer, nearer Precious Lord to Thy precious bleeding side.' we have to draw near to God.

is God your shelter?

do you realize that there is protection even in God's shadow?

do you find refuge in God?

do you stand behind God's fortress?

how much do you trust God?

pray the Word.

live the Word.

believe the Word.
