fully blessed

yesterday, i ran a few errands with my mom. i actually enjoyed the day because i only spent $5.38 at chik-fil-a. as we were walking to one store, i read her t-shirt. it said fully blessed. i asked her what Psalm 32:1 said. i knew i may not get an answer but i asked anyway. i actually felt naked because i usually bring my journal, my planner and my bible with me wherever i go. i left all three at home. when we returned home, i forgot my desire to find out what the verse stated. as i sit even now, the following morning, at the public library computer, i have found out what it states:

Psalm 32:1 Blessed is s/he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. (new international version).

this verse is comforting. you know how one of the first verses you learn, memorize and live on is 1 John 1:9 if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. well if you connect these two verses, Psalm 32 reminds us that we are blessed because God forgives our transgressions and Jesus covers the sins with the Blood.

i love God. God establishes a one on one relationship with us and the relationship is developed with time, patience, hope, faith, love, forgiveness. The Word, the Blood, submission, deliverance, repentance transforms all who are committed to walk in the Spirit and live in the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh.

are you fully blessed?
