this afternoon, i shared two things with my friend about what God taught me this year.
1. God told me to study my Word, pray, trust me, and do not share what you are going through with anyone.
this made me stronger because i finally understand 'be still and know that I AM God.'
Holy Spirit used people to minister to me specifically to my needs.
2. Christians can insult you spiritually, emotionally, and professionally.
i learned to lean on God 100% more.
every human, (non) Christian is equal.
en route to and from prayer tonight and tomorrow, i will continue this reflection in my journal.
as you look at James 1.2-4, ask Holy Spirit to help you write in your journal.
2. my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance; 4 and let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing. 5. if any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God who gives to all generously and ungrudingly, and it will be given you.
Abba, i thank You for allowing me to endure each day in 2011. God help me see what You wanted me to learn through each trial, each testing of my faith, so I can could become a better me. God I am glad that you want me to become mature and complete, lacking in nothing. God i pray that You provide me wisdom today and each day of my live so that my life may personify the promise of Colossians 3.23. in Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
