what are you wearing?

2 Peter 2:9-10 but you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. once you were no people now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy.

every morning, during quiet time, i pray Ephesians 6.10-18 and i also ask that the angels of God protect me ('You will give Your angels charge over me because You care for me'; and 'the angels of God encamp round about those who fear Him.' i feel totally secure because i have also asked God to order my steps in God's word.

this weekend, while Christians, Catholics, and farmers are celebrating Harvest, some people in the world are celebrating Halloween. i have already seen costumes. people have asked me will i distribute candy. i stated that i do not celebrate Halloween. i am not answering my door.

as a Christian, i am glad that i am chosen. i am called. i am a queen. when i pray. when i soak in God's presence, i can adorn myself with a tiara because i am royalty. i can enter in and worship in God's throne room. i appreciate that God inhabits my praises.

God i am glad that i am a royal priesthood. i am a holy nation. i am chosen by You, God. You have called me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. i received Your mercy. God i thank You that You will continue to perfect that which concerns me. in Jesus' name, amen.
