How do you respond when God wakes you up?

Mark 1.35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Mark chapter 1 verse 35 is one verse that I thought I should have been taught in my Christian infancy.  Why?  It is better to do personal bible study and prayer with God early in the morning without distractions.  God will wake you up when the world is asleep to talk to you.  Bible study and prayer with God alone provides no distractions.  Throughout the day, Holy Spirit will clarify any questions that may not have been answered during your one on one time with God.  It is also a good way to end your day; I love just sitting up and talking to God about my day before whispering, 'Good night, God.'  How about you?
God, I want to be attentive to our relationship.  Help me stay alert and find a solitary place to spend time with you in the morning, midday and at night.  In Jesus' name, Amen.
