a new day

this entire weekend, NYC has been inundated with 'remember.' its ironic that the nation wants us to remember what people did to us, yet the question i want answered is, 'how do the other nations memorialize what we do to them?'

we receive limited information about the many people that the USA harms, yet we stereotype races of people who retaliate on our soil. the USA has a lot of sins to repent for. instead of just allowing the chaplain or invited minister that opens each day on the house and senate floors with prayers, the elected officials need to seek those same ministers, in accordance with the Word, for directions and guidance on the creation and passing of laws that affect the nation and countries that the USA invade.

it hurts my heart that our elected officials won't pass bills or create bills because of the color of the president's skin or because party bickering. do they not realize that we shall all be judged for our actions? do you not realize that when you make and pass laws that does not benefit a majority of the people, you will be held accountable to the One in whose image you are made? do you not realize that the Word still stands and that one can lose their sanity just like Nebuchadnezzar did for disrespecting God?

people need to remember what 2 Chronicles chapter 6 and 7 says about returning to God and God responding to prayer. 2 Chr. 7.15 is a famous passage yet there is so much more.

if the nation would live by 'In God we trust' as the money states imagine what Proverbs 3.5-6 and Psalm 23 would be as a blanket on the nation.
