i know it is Sunday and I've been resting from a nice worship. maybe i am a little pumped up from an hour of exercise, nevertheless i am on the edge. people i know are complaining that they do not have time to spend with God. i want to say, 'are you kidding me?' how can someone make time to go to work? exercise? spend time with their family? and spend time with their friends? ...yet when there is a discussion of did you do pbs (personal bible study) today? did you sit in God's presence to listen and talk about what you studied and your day? did you attend weekly worship? and bible study or Sunday school? people are like...i am busy. as Christians we should not take advantage of God's grace and mercy. whatever you need for motivation, you need to act on it.
what do you have to do?
do you not appreciate the God who loves you unconditionally?
do you not want to get to know the God in whose image you are created?
do you not want to develop an intimate relationship with God?
do you not want to truly enter in the presence of God at home?
Psalm 34.8 O taste and see that the Lord is good! Happy is the wo/man who takes refuge in God.
God, i want to know You for myself. I am committed daily to spend time with You. God i want to taste and see that You are God. God i want to be happy. I shall take refuge in You. in Jesus' name, amen
